You clearly can't. It's just an offer and he's a '27 kid. If he turns out to be a stud we actually pursue, then we were his first offer and that will go a long way. If he doesn't, we don't pursue. Simple as that. There's no downside to offering him.

One would have thought Texas coulda figured out our "scheming ways" 4 straight straight times on the 1-yd last year in Dallas : )
