Quiet y’all,

Mizzy op poster was focusing on Upvotes vs Downvotes with an LSU poster a moment ago.

I don't like the gumps as much as anyone else but they still have a top 5 roster overall and a coach who has proven he can win at high levels unlike BK plus they didn't just lose a heisman winning QB and a first round WR combo like LSU.

Bama will be weaker this season because of it being a transition year and the fact daboer will likely be breaking in a new QB.

If daboer is legit LSU fans should be very worried about the tears after that though. Hell LSU probably won't beat Bama again in many years truth be known lmfao.

In comes Nico out goes JD. I love it.

LSU's new quarterback has very similar numbers to Nico.

Interesting how you pretend he won't be any good but Nico will be a star.

Two things that seem to always be on LSU fans mind, Bama football and incest.

Oregon is a top 5 team this year

But why? Lanning couldn't get them out of the Pac-12, how is he going to get them out of the B1G? Losing QBs and NFL talent doesn't seem to mean much in Oregon. If he makes it to the playoff it won't be a top 4 pick. He will simply be one of the 12. And I'm not saying that's automatic.

bullshite. LSU had 73 scholarship players his first year.

And since he was hired at the end of November, he probably had more than that. All those transfers and stuff happened on BK's watch. They are all kids he wasn't able to maintain. They all choose to NOT play for BK.

You know, like the handful that LSU fans and others blamed DeBoer for losing when hired.

He was also tasked with finishing out the recruiting for the year. Which he did. But for some reason, the only time anyone in history has not counted incoming scholarships in their numbers is BK making excuses a full month after he was hired, and LSU trying to make excuses for the fact he's lost 7 games in 2 years while having Heisman talent at QB.

All you LSU fans can count on being debunked every time one of you quotes that bullshite stat as an excuse.

It actually isn't, you just don't like the way it's framed.

List is dumber than making incest illegal in Alabama.

Keep sleeping on deboer. You're going to be shocked how good a coach that guy is. If anyone knows this from experience it's Texas fans.
I think he's the 2nd best coach in the sec behind kirby and he just might jump him.
Then again, with the portal and NIL bullshite it may just come down to who spends the most money. CFB needs structure.

It's bullshite on multiple levels.

Brian Kelly was hired at the end of November, not January. All those who transferred did so after he was there. They could have stayed and played for BK, and did not. So either BK let them know he didn't want them, made no effort to keep them, or they just didn't want to play for him.

And everyone always counts the next years class. I didn't make that framing, it's the way it's done. And it's within that same framing that you are trying to claim 39 and that's why it's bullshite.

When people start claiming they were down to 55-60 scholarships every single year instead of counting their incoming classes, then I'll stop claiming it's bullshite. Until then, it's a bullshite stat that only LSU fans cite as an excuse for his underwhelming results.

Everyone counts "ranking at the time of the game" toward ranked wins but you only count "ranking at end of season" so it seems as if that argument is a bit hypocritical.

I don't think his results have been all that underwhelming, he has the second highest win percentage in the conference after taking over a team that went .500 two seasons in a row.

Regardless, the statement that he only had 40 or so scholarship players when he took over is factual.

Even though he hates LSU, I don’t understand his issue with accepting this fact.

—The same guys that ridicule LSU for having 40 players for the LSU Texas bowl are the same ones that;
—ridiculed the 2021 LSU Teams that only fielded about 65% of a roster during the Alabama game are the same ones that;
—ridiculed OSU in 2021 for only winning five games then go on to;
—claim 2*21 as a juggernaut year.

When you use time of game rankings it gives a false impression of team strength. It's only good for things like historical trivia. It is NOT a good way to show how good the team actually was for the year when used in arguments in that context.

I use end of the season rankings because it provides a more accurate picture of what happened.

Just like everyone includes their incoming classes in their scholarship counts because it provides a more accurate picture of their situation.

The only reason you would have an issue with either is because you want to claim bullshite.

Bragging about being #2 in something is on point for LSU.

So you basically pick and choose whether you want to use commonly accepted methods of data collection in your arguments but complain when others do the same thing.

Got it.
