Vitello is clearly a good coach and recruiter. I don’t think anyone would disagree with that and the results thus far speak for themself.

That said, and I certainly mean no disrespect to Tennessee here, but if he keeps having I success I doubt he’s at UT in 5 years.

He’s not leaving UT. UT has as much money as anyone, and he is currently helping with the designing of LNS expansions and renovations. He doesn’t need your “blue bloods” to win or go to Omaha. He will turn Tennessee into a blue blood by the time he is done. LSU wasn’t shite till Skip, Ole Miss wasn’t shite till Bianco, and Vandy wasn’t shite till Corbin. They all built those programs to what we know them as today. And Vitello is the next one to build a powerhouse college baseball program.
