I have my theory. Before we joined the SEC, most here knew almost nothing about A&M. Most around the country (not just here) will refer to A&M as A-Tee-M. They're truly clueless about Aggie. Some assume it's a predominantly black school like the other A&M schools. In short, Texas A&M, prior to the move was seen as an after thought school.

Wut? Nobody thought aTm was some HBCU.

Aggie has half a billion to fix their football stadium?? Aggie has over 100k seating? This isn't what I thought Aggie would be like

This was common knowledge.

Fast forward, you got #1 Aggie in baseball.b nothing to ground breaking but definitely more than the total scrub so many pictured before the move

Yes, in 12 years in the SEC, aTm has achieved a number 1 ranking. Congrats. They pummeled Vandy and look the part of a top team. Better hope they are still peaking later on in the year.

Dude is 20 years old and he has a "theory"...

My theory is that most people thought A&M was a school that had some really strange and creepy traditions due to having been an all boys military institution for far too long.

When I grew up in Florida, I did because Florida A&M was.
