If you live in NW Arkansas we may be sending some your way out of all of that.
I have family that live around Harrison.

If things don’t work out, can we get some sirloin and ribeye discounts?

Intermittent rains throughout today west of Bartlesville, it was coming down in buckets for about 6 or 7 different times throughout today, only about 15 minutes each time. I'll take what I can get.

This is from yesterday, the neighbor keeps some future steaks on our lower pasture, it didn't rain at all last night, just teased.

Hey Great Pic !!
Glad someone is seeing some rain. It sprinkled here the other day it was just enough for my truck to get all spotty from driving down dusty country roads.
Hope we all get a good rain soon.

Well, I hope you get some of this moisture. I'm deeply ensconced in never-ending gentle thunderstorms now. Looking outside, there appears to be no beginning and no end to the rain, and at this moment I am fine with that.

Thanks it's still dry here we had another storm miss us last night. Supposed to have more chances coming up but who knows anymore.
Enjoy the rain you're getting.

I heard my neighbor cranking on his dock. He was out there yesterday too. I thought, damn dude, it's only a couple inches. Give it a rest.

I was checking on how the recent power wash and reseal was working on my deck. The rain was beading up nicely. It's good seeing my deck get soaked.

I can't imagine any part of Oklahoma being dry at the end of today, not based off these weather reports.
But....
It's Oklahoma, so one county will get soaked and the next one will remain in drought, it always feels like the lottery.

I better get my boots on and go walk around before it gets here. Gotta give those guy's calves a pep talk about safety, gotta find the dogs and make sure they aren't losing their minds, mom probably took care of her chickens, my fricking sunflowers are probably fricked, oh well, I have more seeds so I can start again. Got my worm bucket ready, got batteries, books, I'm good.

I received 2/10 over the last 4 days so far. Earlier in the week they were saying as much as 7 inches.
Had one of the news storm chasers and about 20 or more other storm chasers pass by my house chasing this storm.

We've received 2 inches so far, and the heavy stuff has yet to fall. I'm all for rain/thunder/lightning, but the hail and wind and tornadoes can frick off.

I've corralled the dogs inside for now, the cows are doing their thing, I'm gonna pack some rain gear and walk down there again and visit the pond area and look around. I'll probably get caught in it and get soaked, but it's a yearly thing. At least once a year in the spring I'll get caught on a walk and just get drenched.

I would have to stay out a long time to get drenched with just sprinkles. I just got my cows into the calving lot for the night where I can watch them on cameras. The lots still so dry I don't think I got any on my boots.

Did you end up getting the 7 inches you were hoping for?
