Any interest in the Northern Regions?

Phiilips Exeter has a $1.5 biilion endowment for a High School.

That's probably more than some States.

Berea College had that number back in the 80's or 90's

Not bad for a tiny college
1st to admit blacks
1st to admit women
Free to attend (need to work 10 to 20 hrs a week on campus tho)
No donor funds
No sports teams
No fancy dorms
No massive donor
No nepotism
1st generation poor kids only

Just old fashioned education at no cost to students or their families
Their endowment was tiny but they had a finance guy that made Warren Buffet looked like a 3rd grader buying nothing but dumb boring companies and letting them grow over time.

It took UK another generation to get to just a billion dollar endowment and lots of big donors.

If this school can make FREE education work, why are they alone?
Why do all colleges and universities not follow parts off this example?
