I love baseball, but Alabama is what I figured we'd be:
A good team that doesn't have quite the roster to run through the SEC.
To be fair, our conference schedule is brutally frontloaded, so it's possible we'll work our way back up:
Tennessee
Georgia (not an amazing team, but almost undefeated at home)
South Carolina
Kentucky
Arkansas (this weekend's series)
3 top 8 teams, playing in an opposing stadium of a team that's 21-1 in said stadium, and a ranked South Carolina team. Not exactly an easy path.
We still have #3 Texas A&M and #15 Mississippi State, but the rest of the series are against the three teams below us in the West standings (LSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn). I think we'll either see ourselves play into a 2-seed (no way I see us hosting unless we go on an absolute tear) or fall out of a decent seed.

Alabama has history on its side. For some reason, the tide does well vs Arkansas in baseball
