UK fans - Kenny Payne

I have heard from more than one UK fan that KP was the secret sauce for Cal that had been missing the last few years. What are yalls thoughts on KP? I've heard rumors he's gonna rejoin Cal at Arkansas. Curious if that's a good thing.

John Robic was the man. Payne worked well with the big men. But Robic was the stabilizer.

Payne made himself available to kids at literally all hours the way I understand it. Cal's coaching can be a bitter pill (and frankly confusing sometimes), and I think he was the milk and cookies that helped the medicine go down.

As stated Payne worked with the big men. Mostly though he was the one who dealt with player needs. If someone wanted to get up shots in the practice facility at 2 AM Payne is the one who would get up in the middle of the night and work them out.
Hes also someone who's opinion Cal trust and respects which is rare. His best quality is being a sobering sounding board for Cal.
Plus he ruined Louisville. He's a saint in my book.

The laziest and worst coach in the history of sports. He had absolutely nothing to do with wins anywhere he's coached.

No way he is an assistant when it comes to x's and o's. He's more like the guy who the players go to for comfort after the head coach screams at them. I have never seen anyone lazier than Kenny Payne
