I agree with you and am afraid that it will become like the MLB playoffs where rarely does the best team from the regular season win the World Series.
Flukey shite happens. Like the SECCG last year, which was basically like a play-in/playoff game and the best team from the regular season didn't win.

One team played in the Least division. The other in the West. The best team was decided on the field in the SECCG.
