Does that mean Purdue was significantly better than Alabama given the win-loss record or...?

Hell of a lot more consistent. Our defense made it to where everyone decent could potentially win

No, Bama lost but was in the lead late vs. Purdue. It means Purdue had a 7'4 guy who can win games in a different style, when UCONN had a 7'2 guy you saw his dominance waned a good but.

Plus Bama was an engineered team this year, having quite a few players transfer in, it took time for them to gel it seems. They had a late lull, but if you notice, they could never seem to beat a team with great Bigs, Arizona, Purdue, UK, UCONN. We needed one of lasts years Bigs to stay, I think we had one injured early on this year also.

But in Perdues defense, they are the only team on that list who doesn't have double digit losses.

We played Purdue in Canada and they won 92-86.

Significant? That's a tall order. It's subjective IMO. Settle things on the floor, make it a series at a neutral site

Bama just was not the same team when they season began.... Not saying other teams don't grow as the season progress.
But we lost pretty much most of our production and all of our assistant coaches. This team was literally a rebuild.

I think we would be favored against pretty much all those teams we lost to except Purdue , @ UT, @Zona
