Freeze has been there one year and had very little to work with. He will get a year or two longer. Either way, a routine 8--5 isnt that special, and not that much different than 6-6.

Did Bama regret firing Anthony Grant when Avery turned out to be mediocre? Why does Bama ask such stupid questions?

I didn't suggest they regret firing him. It's clear a lot of fans are still holding out hope on the current guy.

But the harsh reality is they probably wouldn't have been any worse off. Gus certainly has never had 3 losing seasons in a row, or at all for that matter.
