My arse.

In Y1 of Aggie in the SEC, the most viewed games in the Austin TV market were A&M games. This is well-documented. Admittedly, you shite stains were tuning-in to watch the expected carnage but along came JFF, a win in Tuscaloosa and a Heisman.

Your attempts to rewrite history are laughable, even for an ignorant tea sip.

Sad.

I just appreciate the Aggies in here defending Sumlin/Manziel as the golden era of their football program.

You can’t honestly say that you enjoyed having Tech or TCU as your biggest home game every year.

I admitted exactly that on this thread. But good home games is not really something I would call "success." Nor is winning a Heisman. Or were you jealous of LSU's "success" this season because Daniels won it?

TAMU touting a Heisman win as "success in the SEC" is indicative of how little actual success the Aggies have had since they moved. Hell, they had more success in the Big 12.

No one said that, moran.

The question on the table is what motivated tu to ditch the Big XII and follow daddy to the SEC. And make no mistake, you did exactly that

Finebaum argues it is a jealousy issue. I'm not sure I'd call it that, but only an idiot would suggest tu had greener pastures in the conference it literally ran into the dirt.

We are all just hoping you shite stains don't destroy a third conference in as many decades.

Bringing you clowns to the SEC is like taking an overweight, clumsy middle school kid to a China shop.

Oof.

I suggest welcoming Trev by letting him know y’all are ready to head to the B10.

This is a decade old meme implying that you are beyond stupid.

So not only have you demonstrated an exceptional level of ignorance, you doubled-down with a lack of humor.

Nice job, moran.

I saw this topic on another board and brought it up here just to see what kind of feedback it would get.

IMHO, 'sips and dirt burglars made a smart move. Jealously may have had something to do with it but that was not the main reason. I don't care much for Finebaum. He is all about getting clicks and trying to generate interest whether it is really his true opinion or not. Big 12 is/was dying a slow death and there was nothing they could do to stop it. Not being able to secure a great TV contract was a killer. It had lost whatever national prominence it may have once had and was continuing downhill. Staying in the Big 12 was not going to stop it. Unfortunately for the other Big 12 teams there really was no place for them to go.

I can't speak for the rest of Aggie nation but I personally am looking forward to playing the 'sips again on an annual basis. The rivalry never should have ended.

This. Too many big egos in the room at that time to swallow the pride and keep the game alive. So we went over a decade without the game.

It’s true but you can’t blame them. Who could get fired up going to Iowa, Kansas, W Virginia, etc..?

Going back to full stadiums on road and packed home games.

Talking all sports. They were jealous and should have been. Next year is going to incredibly awesome for Horn fans.

Half my family are Horn fans and they are super excited. Don’t blame them at all.

Why is Texas joining the SEC? Paul Finebaum says Texas A&M is to blame: "A&M was so successful in the SEC, Texas said we want some of that."

It was a crime against everything good that the game was ended. As was losing the yearly matchup with Arkansas.

Goddamn BMD egos really piss me off. I LOVE my Horns, and it’s been hell not having aggy and piggy to look forward to.

I am excited about the future!
