It's crazy how quickly Under Armour went down the toilet.
Obviously I'm not buying any UA Braves or Georgia gear, but I'm a big fan of UA clothing.

They expanded into areas where they shouldn't have, because the areas were too saturated already like fishing and hunting.

After Zion's injury in college wearing Nikes, they should have gone into every NBA locker room and negatively recruited against Nike, but they either didn't do that or couldn't sway people to switch.

Even when Nike had a stranglehold on the NBA, there were good players like AI and Shaq who not just bucked the trend, but had popular shoes that kids wanted to wear. I don't see a lot of people choosing to wear UA basketball shoes.

In 2012 I think there was an interview with their owner or founder or CEO and the big take away was he wanted "no loser talk" when it came to business. Well, bossman, sometimes people need to be told "that's a bad idea because...". I think that environment lead to them expanding into areas they had no business going into.

I liked the look of some of their shoes, but the last two pair I bought gave me shin splints, so back to Saucony and New Balance.

I knew UA was in trouble when they backed out of the deal with MLB a few years ago. 2,430 regular season games is a lot of time to show your logo and UA seemed to be well positioned to own the baseball market with their gear.

It will be interesting if they go the way of And One or are able to recover as a company.

They were in excellent position for one day when they thought they had signed KD in 2014 as well. Nike ended up punking UAA though and KD turned into another Anti-UnderArmour mouth.
