The meat of our bats did not bat the 9th. One of our worst hitters actually got the winning homerun and was only his 4th homerun of the year. That guy was also in LF to start the game and had to move to second and got an error there in the 8th. The pitcher who pitched the last 5 innings also got his first career at bat for us in the 9th. The outcome was clearly affected, but both teams were affected pretty equally. It was also the bottom of the 8th to begin with it’s not like this happened in the third inning. Still get why y’all are annoyed but I think it’s more about the outcome which could’ve gone either way than how horribly unfair State got treated. Sad because the one play at the plate overshadowed a great series

That's what you can't get through your skull.... It was top of 8th and we lose the meat in the bottom of 8th with the momentum and a tie game. You just batted Condon and the meat in the 8th, when we lose at-bats from Jordan, Hines, and Chance with the winning run on first with nobody out in the bottom of the 8th.... You gonna forfeit a trip through Condon and your meat in a 1 run game?

Correct. They got shutout in the top of the 8 and hosed at the plate. You get it yet?
