It’s actually funny how State wants to be victims here just because they lost. UGA had pitchers batting and wrongful suspensions overturned just like State.

Absolutely. Yes you had subs batting for one at bat in the ninth, State lost the meat of their lineup for two at bats in a tie game..... 100% affected the outcome of the game. Your meat got to bat in the 8th while ours sits the bench because of the SEC office. Our #2 hitter starts the 8th with leadoff single...... you gonna tell me honestly that Dakota Jordan and Hunter Hines sitting on the bench with a man on and nobody out doesn't effect that outcome for both teams in that inning?

If the SEC admitted to screwing it up and reinstated players, then game should be forfeit for both teams if we are being fair.

The meat of our bats did not bat the 9th. One of our worst hitters actually got the winning homerun and was only his 4th homerun of the year. That guy was also in LF to start the game and had to move to second and got an error there in the 8th. The pitcher who pitched the last 5 innings also got his first career at bat for us in the 9th. The outcome was clearly affected, but both teams were affected pretty equally. It was also the bottom of the 8th to begin with it’s not like this happened in the third inning. Still get why y’all are annoyed but I think it’s more about the outcome which could’ve gone either way than how horribly unfair State got treated. Sad because the one play at the plate overshadowed a great series
