In the state of Texas however, the Aggie connection is very real. If you have a degree from A&M it can be a huge advantage point and even our biggest rivals will agree.


What keeps getting missed is that those initial jobs are setting people up for the rest of their careers.

People won't care about your degree that much 5+ years into your career, BUUUUTTTT they will care about your 5+ years of experience, and that experience is generally better when you go to solidly ranked schools with tons of state connections and internships.
