Disagree. As someone that’s filtered thru resumes, narrowed down candidates, and held interviews it is a factor.

I said it just now but this is only the case within the state. Nationally an Aggie degree doesn't move the needle more than any other unless the guy looking at the resume is an Aggie

I routinely look at resumes and hire folks and with the unemployment rate in North Alabama <2% I don't care where they went to school even if they got a degree from the barn. I am looking for people that will show up on time and work.
