What are some recommendations of things to see, do, and eat while we’re here?
Obviously plan on trying the BBQ to see how it compares to KC

Home Team BBQ, couple locations. Solid. The more in-thing is now Lewis's.
Charter an inshore half day fishing trip.
Bar hop Shem Creek and walk the docks..
Horsedrawn carriage tour downtown for history and scenery. Unlike Savannah and NOLA, no open containers. Get a yeti tumbler to hide your booze when out and about.
Ft. Moultrie (revolutionary war), Ft. Sumter (first shots of civil war)

Try and then let us know if you like that mustard based bbq sauce they have out there. I don't like it. Hard to beat KC BBQ
