I will go on record saying there’s zero chance we get Beard. Carter is running circles around Yurachek and isn’t going to let his new cash cow walk out the door to a rival. They’re primed to be legit in all three major SEC sports and Ole Miss is a very popular name right now amongst recruits.
You can build a basketball powerhouse anywhere so there’s really no reason for Beard to leave, imo. Especially when you see the success and freedom to work that Kiffin has had under Carter.

Completely fair take.
Counter-point: It's still Ole Miss basketball. If we can't at least get a conversation started with a coach they employ, it's time to focus on baseball.
