Who do you guys have?

I think we are heating up right when needed to and will come out shooting better earlier on against Purdue than we did Creighton.

The announcers the entire game were warning us constantly to be careful because Creighton can get hot and got up quickly with their three point shooting but it was the Vols who did just that instead and nailed all of our final three point throws to finish it off.

Wonder how tightly will they blow the whistle against Edey. He has gotten away with way too much contact this tournament so far.

I think it doesn't matter. Vols will defend the paint much better than Purdue's other two tournament foes.

Vols seem to have the worst luck against Purdue.

I like this viles squad. They play well together, don't get flustered. But, those boilermakers look REAL good. They will have to slow down purdue's big man, and that'll be tough to do.

I went back to the November game in Maui that we lost 71-67. Game was called REALLY tight. 51 total fouls and 78 free throws between the two teams.

Aidoo, Awaka and Estrella played a combined 33 minutes and were called for 13 fouls. Aidoo and Awaka both fouled out.

Zeigler was still less than 100%; so was Vescovi. Mashack was starting instead of Zeigler. ZZ was also just 2-11 shooting. Vols shot 33%, Purdue 35%.

Bottom line is this Vols team is a better team than they were then. I’m not sure Purdue has improved that much.

I'm not feeling uppity about it at all.

We have a good chance, but not quite 50-50

I'd say 45-55.

One thing's for sure, Purdue is good.

Another thing's for sure, Kentucky is not.

Last time they played, Purdue won by 4 and shot 48 free throws compared to UT 30. Purdue shot 8 more free throws and that ended up being the difference. UT largest lead in that game was 9 points till the refs took over and made sure Edey shot 17 free throws.

If they lean on that center, which they should. Were in trouble. We have our starting 5 and a true freshman that are within 5" of his height. Could be a terribly long day. Need kinecht, zeigler and james to shoot lights out
