if you can make a historically bad Auburn basketball program relevant - you are better than a mediocre

Pearl is the best thing that ever happened to Auburn. The fans love him and want the court named after him; many claim he needs a statue. I've seen fans willing to put his son under contract as HC in waiting so that he won't consider leaving AU.
