You need to ask CBS why they don’t market “The Road to the Title Game” rather than “The Road to the Final Four.”
Either they are missing the mark on what fans are interested in, or you’re on an island by yourself about what’s most valued.
The goal is not getting to the Title Game. It’s winning the Title.
If you aren’t winning it either way, two seasons with a deep run (Final Four) are always better than one. Anyone with a brain will agree.

CBS marketing whatever means dick to me.
If the basketball Gods asked you, “Hey dumbass, would you like to make it to the title game this year in exchange for not making the tournament next year?”
Not knowing any outcomes, you’re trying to tell everyone you’d decline that offer?
Any person with 1/4 of brain function would always want to play for a title instead of NOT playing for one.
