Oh, I see.

In other words, they don’t think they are good enough to win on their own recruiting merits. They feel they NEED the UK recruiting machine to help them pump their chest out when they “out recruit” (not sure how much credit the coach should get when the school recruits itself…but that’s just me) other schools.

Personally, I would think the pride of winning a NC in basketball at bama or Auburn would be much more challenging and fulfilling than it would be at UK….but that’s just me.

FTR, this no knock on UK basketball, it’s quite the opposite.
