All Smart said in that tweet was that how schools develop players into NFL draft picks is more important than the size of NIL deals.
And the reality is that's true unless the difference in what a player can get in NIL is pretty drastic or the player doesn't think they have any NFL potential.
It's not really that meaningful. It's mainly a recruiting statement. He's saying "UGA's good at putting guys in the NFL. Factor that into your decision making as a recruit before just taking a slightly larger NIL deal".
