Consistency is key from the top at Athletic Director all the way down. If you are constantly having turnover due to outside influences (boosters) it’s going to cause issues.

Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, A&M and to an extent Tennessee have this problem. Tennessee seems to be pulling in the same direction now though finally

You had Hugh Freeze and Tubberville and couldn't keep them. The Lane Train retiring in Oxford doesn't seem like a healthy bet.

Correct. Those that have the real money don't care if the teams win or lose as long as the coach is there to kiss their arse.
