Golden Flake A-Day Details Announced

The 2024 Alabama Golden Flake A-Day Game will be played on Saturday, April 13 at 3 p.m. CT in Bryant-Denny Stadium and will include a full day of activities and experiences.

The A-Day Game will serve as the 15th and final practice of the spring. All gates open at noon and admission is free to the public with the first 5,000 fans receiving a limited-edition A-Day poster, courtesy of Golden Flake. The general public may enter at Gates 14-17, 21-24, 34 or 47-53 for lower-level and ADA accessible seating. Upper-level access will be available via the spirals at Gates 7, 30, 40 and 59 and the elevators at 28 and 41.

It will be the program's first A-Day Game under head coach Kalen DeBoer. A myriad of activities punctuates the 2024 Golden Flake A-Day Game that will be televised on ESPN with Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Molly McGrath calling the game.

Crimson Tide fans will have the opportunity to upgrade their experience at the Golden Flake A-Day Game with a reserved chairback or seating in various premium seating locations inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a videoboard message.

Doors for the TIDE PRIDE Luncheon at Coleman Coliseum open at 11:30 a.m. with Kalen DeBoer and AD Greg Byrne both scheduled to speak. The Alumni Flag Football Game, which will consist of two 20-minute halves, is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. inside Bryant-Denny Stadium and will feature former Alabama standouts.

Fans looking to enhance their pregame A-Day experience can do so at Champions Lane, which will open at 11 a.m. on the green space adjacent to the Tuska Statue and Walk of Champions. Champions Lane is free and open to the public and will feature live music, a display of Alabama Football trophies and awards presented by NASCAR and Everwood, student-athlete autograph signings, a NASCAR Pace Car, food trucks and other sponsor activations.

One of the great traditions at The University of Alabama, which is also open to the public, is the annual Walk of Fame Ceremony at Denny Chimes. At approximately 1 p.m. on A-Day, Nick Saban and 2023 captains Jalen Milroe and Malachi Moore will address the crowd. The captains will then leave prints of their hands and cleats in the concrete as they join a long list of Crimson Tide greats at Denny Chimes.

The football team will then hold its Walk of Champions, scheduled for 1:50 p.m., when arriving at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

As part of A-Day weekend, the baseball team hosts Arkansas at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12 in game one of its three-game series at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, with game two scheduled for Saturday, April 13 at 5 p.m. and the series wrapping up on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Alabama softball hosts Texas A&M at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13 in game one of its three-game series at Rhoads Stadium, with game two scheduled for Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Game three of this series concludes on Monday, April 15 at 6 p.m. Following Monday's game, all fans in attendance are invited to stay in their seats at Rhoads Stadium for a public showing on the videoboard of the SEC Storied film, "BAMA SB," which chronicles the Crimson Tide's journey of the 2012 Alabama softball team.

Alabama men's tennis hosts Ole Miss on Friday at 4 p.m. and Texas A&M on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Alabama Tennis Complex.

Public parking for A-Day is free and available in a first-come, first-served in select lots. Fans can also purchase a parking pass in the Stadium Drive Deck, a 4-minute walk from the Walk of Champions and Bryant-Denny Stadium's north end.

Once again, Alabama's clear bag policy will be in effect during the 2024 season beginning with the A-Day Game. Familiarize yourself with the clear bag policy and enhanced security measures that will be in place at Bryant-Denny Stadium before arriving.

Has anyone ever been to A day with someone with physical disabilities? My daughter is really wanting to go and I’m going to head down there Saturday morning. Are there handicap places I can pay for that are closer to the stadium to reduce the distance she has to push her chair?

Next question is about seating. Are the handicap seating sections typically filled up by a certain time? I haven’t been to a game since Derrick Henry ran all over LSU and Fornette got shoved to the ground all night! I don’t really remember anything about handicap seating.

I was going to try and get there around 12:30-1:00 to ensure she got a decent seat (hopefully in the shade)
