this sounds like a bunch of nonsense but it should get easy enough to find the homeless guy if she’s always with them

But why would she make that up? She also said she had notified the police.

I don’t think she made it up I just think people see what they want to see in situations like this. Definitely worth looking into but I wouldn’t expect anything to come from that

Yeah, probably not, but it is a very identifiable shirt. Not something you normally see people wear.

Police body cam has an officer talking to Riley minutes before the last cell phone ping.

Riley is talking normally and not showing any issues walking.

Police body cam just released

Based on that video, I’m suspecting foul play or suicide. He is walking normally and not acting like he was on some of the other surveillance videos

Yeah, this is really suspicious. Something isn't adding up here...

And if he were to go the suicide route, God forbid, I would imagine he would have sent a text or something. Would be very odd to just not let anyone know and disappear

I was about 99% sure he drowned on his own for the past week. Now I am starting to think he could've been mugged by some homeless cats along the river and tossed in?

I just read where they found his credit/debit card on the river embankment yesterday...apparently found by local volunteers and reported to police. Terribly sad story, I hope they can get some closure for the family...

This is unfortunately what I'm thinking at this point. Reports of seeing his shirt being worn in a homeless camp, recovery of his credit/debit card along the river...seems like foul play is a realistic possibility.

Could’ve happened. Detectives have interviewed two separate homeless camps that had interactions with Riley or witnessed him walking by the river. One said he nearly stumbled in but landed in brush that kept him on the bank. Did say he was drunk. Both groups/camps claim he just wandered off.

Hobos likely killed him, went through this pockets and took his clothes, then tossed him. If his shirt was seen being worn, it's not because they made friends with him.

starting to look more likely. I guess there was something to the bum wearing his shirt after all

These homeless camps need to be destroyed in every city in America

I love the baseless speculation these things bring about. They're never correct. Occam's razor is almost 100% accurate. Dude was likely intoxicated and accidentally drown.

Let’s hope he didn’t fall in the river

A lot more people are murdered in Nashville every year than die by accidentally falling into the river and drowning.

So the simplest and most likely scenario is he was murdered.

They’ve found two bodies in the past two days that aren’t Riley Strain. I wonder how many bodies are in that damn river.

Also after seeing the railing around both of the bridges he’s walking towards when he speaks to the officer, it would’ve been very easy for a dude his height to tumble over. And in this spot you’re going in. This is where the card was found.
