Yeah I don't get this one either.

He'd have to be Dac Prescott playing at a Miss State-like team before he could begin to affect anything on the field.

I call bullshite on this one.

It's more than possible he was simply approached for being on the team not for his personal performance. He could be your in to run what you want done by his teammates.

In the past when sports fixing cases have happened they've usually involved multiple members of a team but I'm sure if you researched it, you'd probably find that one guy was approached and brought it to the others.
