The first baseman clearly goes to step away right before he gets hit. Baserunner clearly shoves him on purpose.

I guess he didn't move fast enough. Baserunner puts his hands out to brace for impact and 1B flops harder than that chick on your basketball team.
Posters on the rant who have a hate boner for Texas will see what they want. That's fine. Stay off the base line and this doesn't happen. i'd say the same if the uniforms were reversed.

Watch the video again. Even when they make contact past the bag, the first baseman's right foot is still in foul territory.
Could the runner have done a better job of avoiding him? Possibly. But if you play first base at the D1 level like a moron, you deserve to get run over.
