Because people like winners with disabilities. It’s a good story.

How many coaches in this conference are better?
I’ll hang up and listen.

He doesn’t take his shirt off and he will win some games. Unfortunately, I think he is a lot like Barnes in that his floor is high but his ceiling is relatively low in terms of championships

It’s Arkansas, the Musselman surge is beginning

Perhaps because he’s got more wins in SEC games than any other coach the last 4 years.
You got any more dumb arse questions.. if so I’ll try to answer them for you

You’re right, there isn’t one.
Tell everyone you know how much he sucks and there’s no way he should be on their radar.
Do everything you can to save other programs and force him to stay at Alabama.

For anyone keeping score, after winning 2 of the last 3 SEC Championships, Bama returned 3 players from the entire ‘22-23 roster and zero assistant coaches, and finished #2 in the SEC and a Top 5 seed in the NCAA tournament.
Hope this helps, OP.

I don’t know how in demand he is. But he is a very good coach. He is 113-52 in 5 seasons at Alabama. That is exceptional at Alabama. Here is his record and SEC finish at Alabama.

21/22: 19-14, 5th
22/23: 31-5, 1st
23/24: 21-10, 2nd
For comparison, here is the record of some SEC coaches over the last five years.
Oats: 113-52
Barnes: 111-48
Calipari: 104-50
Musselman: 110-59
Pearl: 108-46

Don't know that he's in high demand but as far as results he's been as good as any coach in the league since he arrived at Alabama for the 2019/2020 season.
SEC records from 2019/2020 on:
1) Kentucky - 62-27
2) Alabama - 62-28
3) Tennessee - 58-31
4) Auburn - 57-33
5) Florida - 49-39
6) Arkansas - 47-42
Oats is in his 5th season as head coach has won 2 SEC regular season titles, 2 SEC tournament titles, been to 2 Sweet 16s, and has made the NCAA tournament every year he's been at Alabama.
Oats has as good a resume as any coach in the league the last 4 seasons

He's won the SEC 2 out of the last 3 years. Recruits at a high level. Has an offensive scheme that players love. Took a team that just replaced 10 players and led the league for most of the season. And BAMA has a double bye going into the tourney.
To name just a few.
