I’m only relating what Bama fans claim and if he doesn’t make it to the playoffs this season, he’s no homerun hire. He may be a good hire or potentially a good hire.

He didn’t recommend DeBust did he? Thought it was only Lanning, Norvell and Kiffin who all told Bama to take a hike, because they know Bama is only Saban and very little else. Why set themselves up for 3 or 4 losses a year.
I’m not trolling, it’s going to be rough on these bandwagon Bama fans. According to TIME approximately 82% of present Bama fans never watched a game until January 2010.

Saban want AL fans to always talk about the “Saban years”. He does not want the next coach to do well. He wants the decline to continue so his legacy lives on.

And I'm just relating facts and stating that its funny Auburn fans feel so bold they are willing to talk shite about Bama hiring a power 5 coach that just played for a championship when they hired dregs that were spit out of major college football, and are apparently happy with that decision despite him hilariously losing to new Mexico state because he was practicing for Bama, and then hilariously still losing to Bama. But hey, he's buying players. Well so is everybody else, and next year someone else is going to be buying those players off of him

Well, we know for a fact - at least according to our AD - that DeBoer and Norvell were the only two coaches contacted by Byrne, and Byrne was in Seattle with DeBoer when Norvell agreed to a new contract with FSU.
So, I’m not sure what you believe, but there’s that.
