I mean, that is a great list of indie/jam bands. But where do they rank in the whole pantheon of music history? I think you may be a little bit skewed.

But I bet you know where to get the best weed.

ETA: And further more, Drive-by Truckers is not an Athens band anyway. They are a north Alabama band. So you don’t even get to count them. Just because Alabama has played a lot of games at the Georgia Dome doesn’t make them a Georgia team. I wish Patterson Hood’s bitch arse were from Georgia. But he isn’t. He is from Muscle Shoals. I am glad he left and went to Portland finally. I hope he is enjoying Chaz and still not being able to sing worth a frick.
