6th in total offense (yes, despite not being a runner he did net positive rush yards).

Fact check
1 Jayden Daniels LSU Sr. QB 12 462 4946 412.2
2 Bo Nix Oregon Sr. QB 14 524 4742 338.7
3 Drake Maye North Carolina So. QB 12 537 4057 338.1
4 Dillon Gabriel Oklahoma Sr. QB 12 477 4033 336.1
5 Michael Penix Jr. Washington Sr. QB 15 590 4911 327.4
6 Cameron Ward Washington St. Jr. QB 12 605 3880 323.3
7 Seth Henigan Memphis Jr. QB 13 570 4157 319.8
8 Byrum Brown South Fla. So. QB 13 630 4101 315.5
9 Caleb Williams Southern California Jr. QB 12 485 3775 314.6
10 E.J. Warner Temple So. QB 10 469 3083 308.3

That was a lie

7th in yards per pass attempt.
Fact check correct

8th in passing efficiency.
Fact check correct

He was 4th in completion percentage.
Fact check correct

He was 3rd in the nation in passing yards

Fact check correct

I mean the outrageous lie on one doesn’t disqualify the rest I guess

But passing yards per game? 16th. Odd, oh wait an extra game and soft schedule does that. Completion’s per game? 25th. Again soft schedule extra game. Points responsible for, that should put him up there… not top 25?
Sauce ncaa stats

4 to 1 TD to Int. Average. 1.9 rushing. Below average. So a competent QB on a talented team with an extra game and a weak schedule?

Build the statue, print the cups.

You sorted the list by yards per game of total offense. The stat I provide was for season long total offense.

1 Jayden Daniels LSU Sr. QB 12 462 4946
2 Michael Penix Jr. Washington Sr. QB 15 590 4911
3 Bo Nix Oregon Sr. QB 14 524 4742

5 Byrum Brown South Fla. So. QB 13 630 4101
6 Carson Beck Georgia Jr. QB 14 476 4058
7 Drake Maye North Carolina So. QB 12 537 4057
8 Dillon Gabriel Oklahoma Sr. QB 12 477 4033
9 Joey Aguilar App State Jr. QB 14 541 4002
10 Kaidon Salter Liberty So. QB 14 453 3965

Carson Beck against ranked opponents (season end rankings).

FSU - 13-18 for 203 yards, 72% completion, 2 TD, 0 INT. 203 passer rating. Played a half.

Bama - 21-29 for 243 yards, 72% completion, 0 TD, 0 INT. 142 passer rating.

Tennessee - 24-30 for 298 yards. 80% completion. 3 TD, 0 INT. 196 passer rating.

Ole Miss - 18-25 for 306 yards. 72% completion. 2 TD, 1 INT. 193 passer rating.

Mizzou - 21-32 for 254 yards. 66% completion. 2 TD, 0 INT. 152 passer rating.

Against ranked teams in total: 97-132 (73%), 1304 yards (9.9 yards per attempt), 9 TD to 1 INT.

That's a pretty good stat line against ranked teams, particularly with interceptions.

You can believe he's just an average QB if you like. Average QB's don't generally have multipl3 300 yard games and 190+ passer rating games against ranked opponents. Even surrounded by a talented roster.

He's a pretty darn good QB. Not a "wow" guy, but he just completes passes, racks up yards and doesn't make mistakes.

Try harder.

#5 scoring offense per game
#5 total offense per game

You cries of "average QB" don't work when he's doing what great QBs do (move the ball downfield and score).

2024 will be interesting because he won't have 2 NFL receivers (Ladd and Bowers). You've posted once or twice about Ladd... haven't you? It reminds us how shitty your football IQ really is.

Both receivers were hurt for almost half of the 2023 season. But they did impact the offense when they were on the field. A little more weight will be on Beck without them in 2024.
