Texas State doesn’t think so.

Texas State usually beats us once a year. I hope we struggle enough to make a coaching change, David Pierce ain't it.

We have the worst kind of coach: one that does just well enough to keep his job.

He will be in contention for a Big 12 title, blow it and finish 2nd, then make an endearing playoff run that ends in the supers or even a 2 and Q in Omaha. Rinse and repeat.

Many years on, but I'm still kinda surprised Texas pulled Garrido from CSF when they did. Yeah, they're a directional school, but he had built a solid program. I'd be pretty butt hurt if I was a Titan fan.

Was at Stanford a couple of weeks ago for their season opener with CSF. Stanford was the only team ranked at the time (in one, maybe two polls), but CSF swept the opening double-header. Mrs. Zwin had no idea they were a thing.
