for the answer why its illegal...because our esteemed president and senator hatch in the early 90s freaked the frick out after ben johnson wiped the floor with the field and then tested positive

they were not banned to protect the user and in fact the FDA and medical associations fought against them being scheduled as they did not meet the criteria

but they were made illegal because Biden and Hatch in all their wisdom, decided it would clean up sports....it didnt and actually made things more underground to where you are always fighting new drugs coming out that can by pass testing.

and roid rage isnt real...go read the medical literature. stop just repeating myths.

now many steroids where never approved for human use and have limited trials, atleast in this country. example tren was produced in france as human grade but never produced in the USA. Equipose is considered a veterinarian drug in the USA and mexico but was produced as a human grade product in other countries

in the end steroids are illegal not to protect the end user...how fricking naïve do you have to be to believe that. If that was the case we wouldnt allow many of the plastic surgeries we do. It was made illegal because as usual the government felt like they must "do something" even if its not the right thing. and because the government only knows one thing....grandstanding to get reelected.
