re: Why are steroids illegal?

Testosterone is a steroid, but it can be legally prescribed. It’s a schedule drug, which puts it in the same category as opioids and benzodiazepines. It’s not a narcotic obviously, but I guess it didn’t need a category all its own. Used for sports, whether legally prescribed or illegally gotten, is unethical.
