We're 5mi from the beach in Gulf Shores. Retired and pretty much permanently at da beach.

Daughter, SIL and 3 grands live 3hrs NW of London near Cambridge. They've been there since '08, career military.

We go for 2 weeks erry year, have visited most of the Continent during that time. Visiting the sights in Europe never gets old...
