Outside the south and outside the US. Cost of living isn't a fixed number, it's relative to income.

In either case, Florida's has been going up with all the new people.

Florida's is going up because of inflation. Which means it's going up everywhere.

And since it's inflation based, the amount it goes up in the south is actually less than the increase elsewhere in the country.

It has nothing to do with the number of people moving in. The only place that would have an affect is in real estate. Otherwise, it's more money for local businesses and more money in the economy.

If you want steady prices then you need an honest monetary system and you'd want to end the Federal Reserve and fractional reserve banking.
