This ignorance is why Bama doesn’t want this to happen. You think they Tennessee doesn’t have the funds to be in bidding wars? We just took a 5* QB UGA put a multimillion dollar NIL deal on the table for. All this program needed is a reason for the fans to support it after 15 years of inconsistent and disappointing results.
Across the board the Vols are on the cusp of dominating sports. BaseVols are a consistent power, BasketVols have been moving the needle in the tournament, football is finally in good hands. Facilities across the spectrum are getting money dumped in them, the staffs are among the best in the business, and the fans are supporting the programs.
You are fooling yourself if you don’t believe the Tennessee boosters and fans don’t have the economic power to compete, they just need the green light to do so aboveboard.

A few things to be fair.
While Tennessee has only cracked the top ten in recruiting while the NIL has been in play, we did it with a 7-win season coming off 15 years in the desert.
Also, Tennessee has money. We have a lot of money. Our only problem in competing and winning, is that we like moonshine better most days, than sneaking around NCAA and ESPN all the time.
Pruitt's bags of cash was 60k, and 20k of it went to a kids mom who couldn't pay her rent. Plus Pruitt is an idiot, aight?
But now that we can come out in the open and write checks, the Vols are going to take another step forward in the recruiting rankings.

You have made many good points, but you still have a blind spot. Your program has been one of the protected ones since Saban arrived there, but that is over.
The other thing that you are missing is the fact that Tennessee finally got its act together and have competent people at every level.
Regarding recruiting rankings, do you understand how those rankings are made? since you are supposed to be a genius I hope you understand the level of subjectivity involved in it.
