I don’t care a whit about Texas people but smoked sausage links are inherently not gross.
One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in my life was at old-school diner out in Washington state: a large hunk of smoked, then grilled (had the grill marks on it) Kielbasa, two eggs and a stack of pancakes. I felt like a pregnant water buffalo the rest of the day.
