The offense is going to be just fine, they could be really good if Milroe gets a handle on the new system. Defensively… we really need to find an experienced CB or two at least to sure up the defensive backfield.

I'm pumped. Need some depth at OT.

Missing a few players I believe. New TE isn't on there.

Some positions where they get past 3 deep guys aren't listed because there are so many guys on there already. Not sure where he'll fit in, but he didn't have much production last year at UW, and we return 3 guys + Odom.

I bet Williams ends up starting at Z, Hale at X, and Prentice, Bernard, and Law get generous snaps at interior receiver positions.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of 4 wide if the tackles can hold up in protection.

But Alabama lost all their players, Pawwwl. They won’t be able to field a team, Pawwwl. DeBoer can’t recruit the southeast, Pawwwl. It’s over for the Gumps, Pawwwl.

Another thought:
Despite losing the best safety in college ball, safety is still a seeming position of strength. Moore, Smith, and Sabb have a lot of years and/or snaps under their belt. Corner is the question mark at this juncture. Jackson was a great pickup by Saban to be a boundary corner in a defense he didn't even run...serendipitous no doubt. Field is the likely "adventure" in the backfield at this juncture.
Need to see who steps up at the edge positions but with so much talent, someone is bound to be good. So yeah, at this juncture the biggest personnel issue I see on defense is inexperience at field corner.

Caleb Downs would have been nice on that depth chart.

I've been told Bama didn't have enough players left to even fill out a depth chart like this. Could the rant have been wrong?

I count at least 7 TE/H backs. Probably, one or two will leave after Spring.

Nice...
I like the color and content.
This thread is like Repel/Off w/ DDT to homoerotic LSU fans.

I still think Olaus & Wilky are being overlooked.

There’s a good mix of talent and experience in the front 6. I’m very interested to see how the DL rotation shakes out. Lots of bodies at DT for 2 spots. Also, as good as Saban’s scheme was, I’m cautiously optimistic that we will move away from the “mush rush” under Wommack and the DTs will have a bigger impact in the pash rush game.

Well in that case, put him at the X depth chart spot.
