If there was ever a time, this would seem to be it. This isn't the complete interview below. In the complete interview, I remember Ward calling Kirby a Napoleon, which is pretty bold lol.

Currently, Ward is a head coach for the XFL’s San Antonio Brahmas, but if he had the opportunity to coach for Georgia, he would take it.

“I’ll quit whatever I’m doing,” Ward said in an interview with JC Shelton. “I’m coming here. I would love to comeback.”

Ward, who grew up in Georgia, played for the Bulldogs from 1994 to 1997 before his 13-year NFL career. The former receiver said that he and the rest of Georgia’s 1994 recruiting class made an oath to keep Georgia as the best of the best, and if he had the chance to keep that oath, he would take it.

“When we committed to the University of Georgia, it was trying to keep the best players in the state at the time,” Ward said. “When we all signed back in 1994, we were the best of the best players in high school football. We all took a vow to try and change things around and certain players, their career took off, some made it into the NFL, some got injured, some not. This is like the dream job for all of us, being from the state of Georgia.”

One of the players that played along side Ward at Georgia, Mike Bobo, is currently the Bulldogs offensive coordinator. Ward said that being a part of Georgia’s staff one day would be a dream job.

“I would quit whatever I’m doing to comeback and be apart of that,” Ward said. “Cause that’s the oath that I took back in 1994.”
