The University of Arizona is expected to hire missouri athletic director Desireé Reed-Francois as the school's next AD, sources told ESPN.

The surprising move will be formalized soon, per sources, as Reed-Francois is expected to agree to a five-year deal. The hiring gives Arizona's athletic department, which is replete with financial struggles, a veteran leader who has spent nearly three years leading missouri.

Kinda seems like a lateral move until you see she is from California and got her JD from Arizona.

They haven’t been on speaking terms for awhile. Football coaches don’t answer to ADs at power 5 schools.

Going from the worst AD in the SEC to one that should be fairly successful in the B12. Probably smart considering she’d eventually get canned at Mizzou.

Arizona athletics department is currently the biggest cluster in the country. They spent 270 mill they don’t have due to an accounting error.

Makes sense to hire a woman then. Since you can pay them 3/4ths of what a man can make.

The issue is between Her and the BoC/president.

I also think personally she's gonna get a lot of heat for Gates' contract.

Yes, because of her previous stance Eli and the football program.

You said yourself that was a rumor. I don't consider that information.
