State has fans that complain about the lack of general admission seating. All of the chairbacks are sold though season tickets. GA can sit on one of the three berms. (record crowd is 16,423--I was there!) Some have suggested that State put some bleachers in so the GA people have a place to sit. They do make some nice bleachers with color, I believe South Carolina has them. When full, you can't tell people are sitting on bleachers anyway. There are at least 2,000 on the waiting list for chairback season tickets. State could build a few new upper and lower deck chairback sections and sell them out as season tickets immediately. That still wouldn't help the GA fans. Plus, I doubt a baseball expansion is due soon since the stadium is new and we have other sports needing facilities and donor $ needing to go to NIL. We could put some colored bleachers in a couple places in right field or one or two of the berms down the lines and they would probably stay full with GA fans for every SEC game.
I don’t pretend to know the solution but I can tell you the general admission thing is definitely a problem for those who aren’t generational fans. I wasn’t alive when the waiting lists for chairbacks started building up. I don’t have friends or family that have had seats or LFL rigs for years. And a number of people are in the same boat.
Like I said, haves and have nots.

I think it's crazy there aren't enough seats for your fans. Build more GA seats lol. When I visited in '18 I seem to remember ushers checking to see if your tickets were for the section walked into. At Baum you can buy a left field hog pen ticket and do pretty much anything you want. I just sit wherever there are some open seats at most games unless it's a conference series.

That is a legit issue with State. If you are older like me, sitting on a berm is just not a good option. I am fortunate to have a couple of folks we know that have outfield slots. But you don’t impose on them too often because they are always full. It is a conundrum but a good problem to have. If they could have had one or two sections of chair backs set aside for fans like me that might go to a couple of games a year. And set a lottery system that would award them ahead of time. To me that might have been helpful. But obviously it is too late now.
If they could add a third deck, then it could be done but doubtful that will happen any time soon.
