Seems too high for a Mizzou team with a new DC and lots to replace on defense. I'd be more comfortable with 12-15 Mizzou. But the schedule probably makes it look like a safe placement.

DC isn't the problem. If the experts pick the Mizzou team to be good again based on this year's schedule and last year's record, and roster being the same or little better. Then you compared to all the other teams and their schedule.
