This seems to be a pattern. I was shocked Alabama hired a west coast guy that's only been a D1 head coach for four years and has absolutely no SEC experience. Deboer then goes to fill his staff with a bunch of inexperienced coaches that also have zero SEC experience.

The SEC is where the big boys play and last time I checked Washington and Indiana aren't in the SEC and don't play nearly the competition. I'm starting to think Deboer was hired because he's someone Saban can control where a really experienced HC would have told Saban to enjoy his retirement in Florida!
