haven't been to a mizu game yet, but it's been mentioned a few times so I gotta ask - how y'all mess up tailgating?!?......
not a flame, being sincere, I don't understand how ya frick it up lol... it's a sport all unto itself that is pure joy.. food, booze, football, some music, pretty scenery, family & friends.. meeting new folks - hell, I'd say you pull up on a tailgate just bout any venue, any game down this way & you'll have a blast..
is it the weather? can't cook? socially awkward, what gives?

Its a mix of things.
-Parking lot situation isn't ideal for a true tailgate feel, Parking lots for non boosters are very spotty and broken up.
-weather can be an issue. but most times its not.
-Our bar scene is great, and fans over time have really held on to just drinking at the bars. More than the general Fans, students are the ones who either stay where the frats are or just go to bars. Its mainly the students who stay away from tailgating.
Lastly, and this may be a desperate attempt to justify them(although I don't support the reason), MOST kids in this state don't grow up with college sports, they grow up watching pro sports, then eventually get into college sports either once they get to college or after. So I wonder if growing up with never really tailgating plays a part. Who knows.
