This is bizarre. We were a bubble team annually just 4-5 years ago.

I mean… Kentucky hired away Tubby Smith from UGA in the 90s. It’s not completely unprecedented for them to want to pluck good coaches from lesser conference rivals

So I take it with Saban retiring and the new FB hire you are flexing about Alabama becoming a basketball school?

Alabama is arguably the second-or-third most successful basketball program in the conference historically.

Granted the gap behind Kentucky is wide, but they have the second-most regular season SEC championships and the second-most SEC tournament championships in the league.

For example, summing both of those, Alabama has 19. Tennessee has 17, Auburn has 6. Arkansas has 3.
