So your going to base our future success off of what happened in cfb 20 years ago, am I reading that right?

No.

You stated that what LSU is about to do now that Saban is gone would be my worst nightmare.

I said that’s fricking stupid - since I sat through the DuBose, Fran, and Shula years.

You stated that LSU is playing better ball now than they were during those eras, which is demonstrably false. During the worst stretch in Bama football history, 2000-2007, LSU finished in the Top 10 five times, won 2 national championships, won 11+ games 3 different times, and won 3 SEC Championships.

To sum up: No, what LSU is about to do is not my worst nightmare. No, LSU is not playing better ball currently than they were during their best stretch in program history.

It's funny to me that you understand LSU football as well or better than their own fans. I do as well.

I live in Louisiana and have conversations about LSU football all the time. I Know their fanbase better than they know themselves. I watch all their games and listen to their sports shows but what they think they know about Alabama football couldn't fill a frickin' thimble. They never watch and don't follow Alabama. So when I tell them how and why Alabama is going to beat them. They're in utter disbelief and godsmacked by the outcome.
