You better hope Kirby and Georgia isn't in any way involved in this. If he's shown to be pulling strings behind the scenes, Nico can sue him into the poorhouse, take every penny he has.

This shows a complete lack of understanding of NIL and of the US legal system.

To sue someone, you need to be able to show damages. Even if your conspiracy theory is correct and UGA somehow is targeting Tennessee (not sure why they'd bother) and was reporting them to the NCAA, Nico and Tennessee have no damages on which to sue.

Nico's NIL contract is not in danger in any scenario, only ho see the field for Tennessee's football team. He can only successfully sue UGA once damages have actually happened, not "potential damages". That wwould mean he'd have to put together a case that AFTER he was suspended that the suspension can be directly linked to UGA doing something untoward (and reporting a rulebreaker doesn't count) and that the suspension caused financial damage that can be enumerated.

Basically, while they'd have a small chance of a successful lawsuit against the NCAA, there's no chance of one against whoever may have reported them to the NCAA as reporting an action doesn't cause the sanction, the NCAA decides that.

It's funny you think this is reasonable even if your idiotic conspiracy theory is true. Posting something like that shows an extreme lack of intelligence.

But hey, you're a Tennessee fan who thinks UGA even has a reason to target a team they've beaten 7 straight times.

Let's be realistic. The only team UGA would have reason to try to bring down is Alabama. Everyone else hasn't been enough of a threat for UGA to have reason to try to target for anything.
